2012 Mercedes Benz E Class




For 2012, Mercedes-Benz E Class has a new model and engine, with standard 4MATIC all-wheel for the E550. Available in four different body styles (Coupe, Convertible, Sedan, and Wagon) and several different engine configurations. Base E350 models include a completely new 3.5-liter direct-injection V-6, making 302 horsepower, while E550 models get a new 4.6-liter direct-injection V-8 that makes 402 horsepower.
The E350 BlueTec diesel carries its 210-horsepower 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine forward from last year. Several of the sedans and wagons can be had in 4Matic all-wheel drive (rear-wheel drive is standard across the range), and all models share a standard seven-speed automatic transmission.

Interior soace was improved with the latest Mercedes-Benz E Class redesign, a couple of years ago, with better back seat space than before. Wagon models have even more versatility, with fold down seats, an open cargo space, and two temporary duty, rear facing third row seats. Wagons also get a new power tailgate. Handling and ride comfort with carefully balanced on the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E Class, resulting in a dynamic and smooth ride. The quality of cabin materials, seats are comfortable and relatively spacious rear seats make the most of this balace, making the E Class cars travelling the road very well. Mercedes-Benz E Class proved in tests of safety, the safety technology, including the driver drowsiness detectors, blind spot monitor, automatic high-beam lights, adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assistance.
